How can I prevent my skin from aging?

3. USE EXFOLIATE A FEW TIMES A WEEK (Use gentle one)

As you age, your skin might lose some of its natural glow, due to the buildup of dead skin cells on your skin’s surface. This happens because your skin’s natural cell turnover rate will slow down as you get older, causing the dead skin to pile up on your skin’s surface. Exfoliating can help remove those dead skin cells that are making your complexion look dull. Use an exfoliator two to three times a week for best results.

How to use: Lather the scrub into wet hands and gently massage it onto your skin in a circular motion. Rinse thoroughly and then pat dry.

4. USE A FACIAL SERUM

Another product you should add to your skincare routine after crossing mid 20’s is face serum. Before you put your daily face moisturizer on, apply an anti-aging serum onto your skin. Face serums are often formulated with a higher concentration of ingredients.

How to use it: Apply the serum/moisturizer in the morning and evening. Make sure to mix it well before using it, then smooth it over your face and neck.

5. APPLY A DAILY MOISTURIZER

As we mentioned earlier, your skin’s ability to renew surface cells slows down as you age, causing a buildup of dead skin cells (so not fair!). This causes the natural pink hue to be hidden and your complexion becomes dull.

How to use it: It’s best to use this moisturizer every morning. Apply it gently onto a clean face in a circular motion for best results. This daily moisturizer will leave skin feeling super-hydrated and younger-looking.
